Today we used our book bags to practice "Read To Someone." Reading to a partner is fun and helps us become more fluent readers! Ask your child what EEKK means!

First graders are learning how animals inspire many human ideas. After watching a video about the protective armor that armadillos have, they were challenged to create their own protective sport gear. We had lots of chuckles with this challenge!

Today was an exciting day for our 2nd graders as they visited North Elementary School. They met Mrs. Rayburn, 3rd grade teachers, students, and had the opportunity to ask questions. Mrs. Napieralski, our math interventionist, gave all 2nd grade students a tour around the building, too! Hopefully, our 2nd graders feel more comfortable with their upcoming transition. 💙💛🐝
