Our second grade students have been learning a lot about the life cycle and migration patterns of Monarch butterflies through collaborative reading experiences. Daily class, group, partner, and individual reading sessions significantly contribute to student reading success. 🦋🧡

Kindergarteners continued their work with living things this week by reading Move Over, Rover in STEAM lab. After watching the eight animals in the story try to squeeze into one small doghouse, these young engineers were challenged to build a bigger shelter for them. The yellow foam pieces represent the living things. 😉

While learning about the needs of living things, kindergarteners worked collaboratively to create buildings that would provide humans with all that they need. Houses, grocery stores, water towers, and so much more quickly filled our town!
