Local students will demonstrate projects during the 22nd Annual AT&T/MACUL Student Technology Showcase in Lansing.
Ithaca, MI – Local students from North Elementary in Ithaca are headed to the state Capitol to participate in the 22nd annual AT&T/ Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) Student Technology Showcase, highlighting the incredible applied technology efforts they’ve developed in the classroom.
During the showcase, four North Elementary students will present ways 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders use technology in their weekly STEAM challenges to state lawmakers.
"Our students are thrilled to showcase their tech-driven skills at the upcoming Student Technology Showcase," stated Amy Hindbaugh-Marr, Ithaca’s K-6 STEAM teacher. “The integration of various forms of technology into our STEAM program has enhanced our students’ educational experiences, expanded their horizons and exposed them to exciting new possibilities.”

Presented by Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning and underwritten by AT&T, the 2023 Student Technology Showcase will feature demonstrations from students representing nearly 30 schools across Michigan. The Lansing showcase will be held in the state Capitol’s new Heritage Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 6, giving students opportunities to demonstrate and display technology projects they have created for Capitol visitors as well as policymakers.
